Now that the Anniv Ed has been out for a while, I am wondering what everyone thinks on game balance?
In the beginning (playing board games locally) it seemed pretty even. But, before long, Germany was clearing out the entire UK navy turn 1 and prevented them in subsequent turns from building. From then on, our games have favored Axis unless the Axis player made a big mistake or got unlucky rolls round 1.

Yes, you certainly killed me on-line but I thought my rolls were terrible!!!! I started making desperately bad moves to compensate and it snow balled on me with your counter moves.
Most of our board games are favoring Axis (1941). I've played about 15 or more games (1941). How about you?

retreat RUS unless 50/50 in UKR or BST, buy arm always for rus. eastern front disolves quickly, r3 rus should be in or near POL/BUL, also attack FIN RUS1, if bst is not favrable. buy 1 cru 1 ac 1 ftr 1 trn for UK,
attack FRA if nearly empty, BUY 1 des 1 ac 1 trn 1 arm, 1 tech USA1....
